I have acquired most of the materials to build my house tailer. It will be built on a 35' gooseneck trailer frame. I have use of a nice 40'x80' barn to work inside. Here are the 12" x 35', 16# i-beams that will provide the basis of the trailer.

Here is the rest of the steel material that I need for the trailer.

I have the lumber for the trailer deck, subflooring, framing and roof decking, exterior sheathing and exterior siding. The trusses for the roof and the roof decking will be exposed to the inside and will be 2x6 rough cedar. The exterior siding is tounge and groove cedar.

Insulation will consist of R-13 fiberglass for inside the walls and a 1" foam board that will be applied both under the floor decking, over the roof decking and outside the exterior wall sheathing.

In the process of designing the floorplan, I shopped around and selected the appliances and components for my house trailer. This way I know the exact dimensions and can accurately plan for their placement.
